About Fleet

This module contains a listing of vessels under your control. Various crew related tasks can be performed for the listed vessels using the available features:

Crew Matrix

This feature allows you to generate a report on the qualification of Officers/Engineers who are currently onboard a vessel. This is especially useful to perform a check if the crew members who have signed on have adequate experience as required for work onboard a Vessel. This report will only take into account the rank of Officers/Engineers. The details displayed in this report are based on the Crew Matrix Report Setup

Complaints

This feature allows crew members to raise or log complaints during their service on a vessel. Complaints can also be entered on a crew member's behalf.

Claims/Costs

This sub-module enables you to view a listing of claims such as P&I, Medical Incident, Travel and Training claims.

Crew Lists

The features available in this sub-module allows you to retrieve a list of crew of a particular vessel. You can then check the validity of the crew’s certificates, travel documents and licenses and to track if any of the relevant documents are nearing expiry. If a crew member is reaching the end of his tenure with the vessel, you can start planning for a replacement ahead of time. And once the end of tenure is reached, a sign-off can be performed for the crew member.

Unfilled Positions

This feature enables you to quickly check for unfilled positions onboard a particular vessel or across the entire fleet.

Vessel Particulars

This sub-module gives you easy access to the vessel’s particulars, which contain the practical, technical and commercial details of a vessel. It supports information update where changes can be made; wherever applicable, whenever it is required. This is especially important in situations of new management takeover, equipment reinstallation, change of ownership etc.

Vessel Manning Requirements

Accessed from the Vessel List, you have the ability to define the manning requirements of a vessel. You can select the applicable scheme that will define the regulatory-bound minimum number of crew required for a position to comply with basic safety requirements. You can stipulate the minimum requirements necessary to satisfy the position as well as the actual requirements of the company for the position. You can specifically list the licenses and certificates required for a particular rank applying for the post, the training or courses that the crew should have completed and also the skills required.

Onboard Training & Drills

This feature allows you to enter records for Onboard Training/Drills  at a vessel level instead navigating to a profile record and entering the details for each user.

Alcohol Test

This feature allows you to track all Alcohol Tests carried out on a Vessel for crew members signing on.

Activity Batch Lock

This feature enables you to lock multiple activity records at one-go.

EDI to MPA

This feature allows you to handle all Crew Agreements for the Maritime Port of Authority. With this feature you can open a new agreement, track the Crew Changes, Close an Agreement and Renew an Agreement. You can also then generate the agreement to an XML file which can later be sent to the MPA.
