Managing a Customer's Licenses

Screen Navigation: Customers - License Control

The License Control feature allows you to manage all the licenses purchased by a customer as stated in agreements made with the customer.

Here, you can view the number of standard and subscription licenses for each agreement, and whether or not each license is transferable to other vessels.

In the Available Site License tab, you can also specify which vessel sites are applicable to the agreement, as you might not know during the drafting of the agreement.

For example, if you have specified in the agreement that there are 10 vessel sites, 10 rows will appear under this tab where you are then able to specify the names of each site by selecting from the list of vessel records created for the customer. The selected sites will be updated in the actual Agreement as well.

The License Control feature also enables you to Terminate the license for a particular module. Once terminated, the customer will no longer be charged any maintenance or subscription fees for that license.
