Searching for a Customer

For big companies with many customers, searching for a single customer in the Customer listing page may seem daunting.

Fortunately, CRM incorporates filters at the top of each column to aid with discovery. In addition, you can also use the Advanced Search function to further narrow down the list.

Search for a Customer

To search for Customer on the Customers listing:

 

1. Go to the Customers tab and click Customers. The Customers listing will be displayed.

 

2. Use the search filters on the Filter row to narrow down the list of customers.

3. You can also click the Active tab to hide inactive customers.

 

 

 

 

Search for a Customer using the Advanced Search function

To search for a Customer using the Advanced Search function:

 

1. From the Customer listing, click Search Customer.

 

2. This will open a drop-down menu with more specific search criteria. Fill in the information you would like to use in your search.

 

 

 

The following table provides you with more information on the available fields:

Field

Description

Customer

Select a customer from the drop-down list.
Business Type Select the type of business that the customer operates, i.e. Ship Owner, Manning Agent, Port Agent, etc.
Key Account Manager Select a Key Account Manager from the list of employees in the Register.
Service Manager Select a Service Manager from the list of employees in the Register.
Include deactivated Select this check box to include deactivated customers in the search results.
Go directly to Customer Code Type the Customer Code and click Go to directly open the customer's Details page.

 

3. Click Search. The results of your search will be displayed.
