Searching for an Invoice Request

At any point, there may be a large amount of invoice requests in the system. Searching for a single invoice request in the listing page may seem daunting.

Fortunately, CRM incorporates filters at the top of each column to aid with discovery. In addition, you can also use the Advanced Search function to further narrow down the list.

Search for an Invoice Request

To search for an invoice request:

 

1. Go to the Invoice Requests tab and click Invoice Requests. The Invoice Requests listing will be displayed.

 

2. Use the search filters on the Filter row to narrow down the list of invoice requests.

3. Click on the customer code, or click Actions then View, to open the invoice request.

 

 

 

Search for an invoice request using the Advanced Search function

To search for an invoice request using the Advanced Search function:

 

1. From the Invoice Requests listing, click Search Invoice Request.

 

2. This will open a drop-down menu with more specific search criteria. Fill in the information you would like to use in your search.

 

 

 

The following table provides you with more information on the available fields:

Field

Description

Customer

Select the customer to whom the invoice will be issued.
Include deactivated? Select this check box to include invoice requests that contain items from deactivated agreements in the search results.

 

3. Click Search. The results of your search will be displayed.

 

 

 

Search for Items To Be Invoiced

To search for items that are to be invoiced:

 

1. Go to the Invoice Requests tab and click Items To Be Invoiced. The Items To Be Invoiced listing will be displayed.

 

2. Use the search filters on the Filter row to narrow down the list of items.

3. You can also click the Draft, Approved or Invoicing tabs to only show items with those request statuses.

 

4. The Advanced Search function is also available here. Click Search Items To Be Invoiced.

 

5. This will open a drop-down menu with more specific search criteria. Fill in the information you would like to use in your search.

 

 

 

The following table provides you with more information on the available fields:

Field

Description

Customer

Select the customer to whom the invoice will be issued.

Service Type

Enter the type of service provided for in the invoice request.

Status

Select the status of the invoice request, i.e. Draft, Approved, Invoicing

 

6. Click Search. The results of your search will be displayed.

 

7. Click on the link under the Requested By column to open the invoice request.

 

Note: If the Invoice Request has been deleted, the System will display the following error - 'The resource you are looking for has been removed'.
