Viewing Verification Status of Crew for Embarkation

This sub module serves as an automated checklist enabling you to verify that the crew members meet all the necessary requirements before signing on to a vessel. Enter a range of dates within which you want to perform a check and a list of crew who are to sign on within that time period will be displayed. You can then use this feature to quickly see the verification status of the crew member’s License, Certificate, Medical, Operation Experience, Travel Documents and Travel Plans. A 'green' indicator shows that the verification has been completed while a ‘red’ indicator shows that the particular records have not yet been verified.

View the Verification Checklist of Items of a Crew Member Prior to Embarkation

To view the checklist:

1. From the HR Manager main menu, click Crew Embarkation under the Planning menu.

2. The Crew Embarkation screen will be displayed.

3. Select the Date From, Date To and Vessel to list the crew records to verify prior to embarkation. You may also use the Rank field to narrow the results that are displayed, if required.

4. The records that match your search criteria will be displayed. The crew member’s current verification status for each item (example, License, Certificate, Medical, and Experience etc) will be indicated with various coloured indicators. Clicking any of the coloured indicators will open the Check Compliance screen for the selected crew. If a Travel Plan has been created, clicking the green icon under the Travel Plan column will open the Travel Details screen.

 

On the Check Compliance screen, clicking the code will open the selected item in a separate tab.
